Day Wise Itinerary

Day 01: Guwahati - Shillong (via Umiam Lake)

• Welcome to Assam. Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, transfer to Shillong (approx. 100 km / 3 hrs). En route visit the beautiful Umiam Lake, surrounded by scenic hills.
• On arrival, check in to hotel.
• Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 02: Shillong - Dawki -Mawlynnong - Cherrapunjee

• After breakfast, check out and start early around 7:00 AM. Drive to Dawki (approx. 80 km / 2–3 hrs). Visit Dawki Bridge and enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear Umngot River.
• Later proceed to Mawlynnong (approx. 25 km / 1 hr), known as “Asia’s Cleanest Village,” and visit the Living Root Bridge. Continue to Cherrapunjee (approx. 90 km / 2–3 hrs).
• Arrive in the evening and check in.
• Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 03: Cherrapunjee Sightseeing

• After breakfast, enjoy a full day of sightseeing covering Wah-Kaba Falls, Mawsawa Falls, Prut Waterfall, Lyngksiar Falls, Janailar Falls, Seven Sisters Falls, Arwah Cave, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, and Eco Park.
• Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 04: Cherrapunjee – Excursion to Double Decker Living Root Bridge (Closed on Sundays)

• After breakfast, proceed to Tyrna Village, the starting point of your trek.
• Hike through scenic trails and villages to reach Nongriat, home to the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Explore, relax, or swim in the natural pool before trekking back to Tyrna.
• Return to hotel.
• Overnight stay at Cherrapunjee.

Day 05: Cherrapunjee - Shillong (via Krang Suri & Phe Phe Falls)

• Early morning optional boating on Umngot River. After breakfast, drive towards Shillong via Jaintia Hills.
• En route visit Krang Suri Falls and Phe Phe Falls.
• Arrive Shillong by evening and check in.
• Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 06: Shillong - Guwahati (Kamakhya Temple & Drop)

• After breakfast, check out and proceed to Guwahati. Visit the famous Kamakhya Temple before transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.
• Trip ends with unforgettable memories!
