DAYWISE ITINERARY

 

DAY 1:Guwahati Airport / Railway Station to Shillong – Transfer

Approx Distance: 110 Km | Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs 30 mins

• On arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, transfer to hotel in Shillong and check-in.

• Enroute visit Umian Lake for serene boating.

• Overnight stay at Shillong.

DAY 2:Shillong to Cherapunjee – Transfer and Sightseeing

Approx Distance: 60 Km | Est. Travel Time: 2 hrs 30 mins

• After breakfast, transfer to Cherapunjee and check into hotel/resort.

• Visit Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave, Seven Sisters Falls, and Shillong Peak.

• Overnight stay at Cherapunjee.

DAY 3:Cherapunjee – Double Decker Living Root Bridge Trek & Local Sightseeing

• After breakfast, trek to the Double Decker Living Root Bridge (3 hours one way, 2500 steps).

• Guide mandatory for the trek.

• Later, visit local churches and market in Cherapunjee.

• Overnight stay at Cherapunjee.

DAY 4:Cherapunjee to Mawlynnong – Dawki River – Shillong – Transfer and Sightseeing

• Approx Distance: 100 Km | Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs

• Drive to Mawlynnong village, known as the cleanest village in Asia.

• Walk around the village and explore local lifestyle.

• After lunch, drive to Dawki to see the Umngot River.

DAY 5:Shillong to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station – Sightseeing and Transfer

• Approx Distance: 110 Km | Est. Travel Time: 3 hrs 30 mins

• After breakfast, visit Lady Hydari Park, All Saints Church, The Cathedral in Laitumkhrah, Shillong Golf Links, and Don Bosco Museum.

• Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.

• Trip ends with beautiful memories!
