DAYWISE ITINERARY 

Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar & City Exploration

Arrive at Srinagar Airport, where our friendly local representative will greet you. Transfer to your hotel, check in, and freshen up.

Start your journey with the Mughal Gardens:

• Chashme Shahi Garden – a beautiful spring garden with flowing fountains and vibrant flowers.
• Pari Mahal – the historic “Palace of Fairies,” offering panoramic views of Dal Lake.
• Nishat Bagh – a terraced garden overlooking the sparkling waters of Dal Lake.

Later, visit Shankaracharya Temple, perched on a hill for breathtaking views of Srinagar city. Stop at Hazratbal Shrine, a serene mosque by the lake, and then explore the local markets for pashmina shawls, handicrafts, and souvenirs.

Return to your hotel for overnight stay in Srinagar.

Day 2: Sonmarg Day Trip – Gateway to Ladakh

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to Sonmarg, famously called the Gateway to Ladakh. The route offers stunning views of snow-capped mountains and pristine valleys.

Optional activities (at your own cost):

• Visit Thajwas Glacier on horseback – a snow-clad wonder all year round.
• Explore Zero Point, about 25 km from Sonmarg, accessible by hiring a local taxi (our cab cannot go there).

Return to Srinagar in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 3: Doodhpathri Excursion – Valley of Milk

Today, drive to Doodhpathri, located about 50 km from Srinagar in the Budgam district. Known as the Valley of Milk, this alpine valley is surrounded by snow-capped mountains in the Pir Panjal Range.

Enjoy serene walks, fresh mountain air, and pristine landscapes perfect for photography. This relatively new tourist spot is gaining popularity for its tranquility and scenic beauty.

Return to Srinagar in the evening for overnight stay.

Day 4: Gulmarg – Meadow of Flowers

Travel to Gulmarg, famously called the Meadow of Flowers, with lush green meadows and majestic snow-capped peaks.

Optional activities (at your own cost):

• Gulmarg Gondola Ride – one of the world’s highest cable car rides with breathtaking Himalayan views.
• Skiing or snow fun – enjoy skiing or playing in the snow.

Overnight stay at Gulmarg to soak in the alpine beauty.

Day 5: Pahalgam – Valley of Shepherds

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, known as the Valley of Shepherds. On the way, stop at:

• Saffron Gardens – see Kashmir’s fragrant saffron fields.
• Awantipora Ruins – ancient temple ruins set amidst scenic surroundings.
• Apple Orchards – lush orchards brimming with fruit.

Check in at your hotel in Pahalgam for overnight stay.

Day 6: Pahalgam Sightseeing

Spend the day exploring Pahalgam’s famous spots:

• Aru Valley – peaceful meadows with flowing streams.
• Betaab Valley – picturesque landscapes framed by snow-capped mountains.
• Chandanwari – starting point for the Amarnath Yatra trek.

Note: Visits to these points are at your own cost, as our cab cannot enter these areas.

Return to your hotel in Pahalgam for overnight stay.

Day 7: Return to Srinagar & Shikara Ride

After breakfast, transfer back to Srinagar. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, gliding past floating gardens, houseboats, and scenic lakeside homes. Capture the magical sunset reflections on the calm waters.

Day 8: Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Srinagar Airport to catch your onward flight. Carry back unforgettable memories of Kashmir’s mountains, lakes, valleys, and vibrant culture.
