Day Wise Itinerary
Day 01 – Arrival in Cairo
- Arrive at Cairo International Airport and meet your representative for assistance with immigration and customs.
- Transfer by deluxe coach to your hotel for check-in.
- Spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the energy of Egypt’s vibrant capital.
- Overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 02 – Cairo Sightseeing
- After breakfast, begin a full-day tour of Cairo’s iconic landmarks.
- Marvel at the Pyramids of Giza, built around 2500 BC, and the enigmatic Sphinx, the lion-bodied guardian of the necropolis.
- Enjoy shopping stops at a papyrus workshop, perfume factory, and cotton shop.
- Continue to the Egyptian Museum, home to thousands of Pharaonic antiquities, and stroll through the bustling Khan El Khalili Bazaar on El Moez Street, a 14th-century market perfect for souvenirs.
- Return to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 – Alexandria Day Trip
- Early morning, transfer by private A/C vehicle to Alexandria (approx. 2.5 hours). Explore the Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, the largest Roman cemetery in Egypt, and the Ancient Roman Amphitheater with marble seats and mosaic floors.
- Visit Pompey’s Pillar, a 25-meter-high granite monument, and admire the Citadel of Qaitbay, built on the site of the legendary Lighthouse of Alexandria.
- Return to Cairo in the evening for overnight stay.
Day 04 – Cairo to Aswan / Nile Cruise
- After breakfast, transfer to Cairo Domestic Airport for your flight to Aswan. Upon arrival, visit the Philae Temple, dedicated to Isis and Hathor, the engineering marvel of the Aswan High Dam, and the Unfinished Obelisk, carved from red granite for the god Amun Ra.
- Board your Nile cruise for check-in and overnight stay on board.
Day 05 – Nile Cruise: Abu Simbel & Kom Ombo
- Early morning transfer to Abu Simbel to explore the monumental temples of Ramses II, carved from solid rock and rediscovered in the 19th century.
- Return to your cruise and sail to Kom Ombo, visiting the unique double temple dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the falcon-headed god.
- Continue sailing to Edfu for overnight on the cruise.
Day 06 – Nile Cruise: Edfu to Luxor
- Visit the Edfu Temple by horse carriage, dedicated to Horus and built in the 3rd century BC.
- Continue sailing along the scenic Nile towards Luxor, enjoying the river’s tranquil beauty.
- Overnight stay on the cruise.
Day 07 – Luxor Temples & Ancient Tombs
- After breakfast and check-out, explore the West Bank of Luxor, starting with the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of New Kingdom pharaohs.
- Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, famous for its terraces and statues, and the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues dating back to 1350 BC.
- On the East Bank, tour the Karnak Temple complex, constructed by multiple pharaohs over centuries, and the Luxor Temple with its intricate hieroglyphs.
- Transfer to your hotel in Luxor for overnight stay.
Day 08 – Departure from Luxor
- After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Luxor Airport for your onward flight, taking home memories of Egypt’s timeless treasures.
